About Us
Munshi Trust UK (MTUK) was established by the diaspora community from by early migrants from Bharuch, Gujarat, India to the United Kingdom, with a vision to transform lives through education, healthcare, and community empowerment while strengthening the bonds between UK communities and their roots in India, especially Bharuch District of Gujarat.
Founded with the values and legacy of the Munshi family, MTUK began its journey with the formation of its constitution in 2000 and was officially registered with the Charity Commission England and Wales on 4th September 2002. Since then, MTUK has grown into a recognised international charity, building sustainable bridges between UK donors and life-changing projects in India and beyond.
Today, MTUK continues to work with grassroots organisations and large institutions, driven by the belief that no child should be denied education, no patient denied treatment, and no community left behind.
